Member of the Lithuanian American Council
Knights of Lithuania
The Knights of Lithuania, founded in 1913, is a nationwide family organization. Members are Roman Catholic American men, women, and children of Lithuanian ancestry who work for “God and Country.”
The aim of the Knights of Lithuania is to help keep alive among our members an appreciation of our Lithuanian heritage and our Roman Catholic faith.
Through the efforts of the Scholarship Fund, the organization is able to help talented members further their education. We also aid the Lithuanian Pontifical College in Rome through the St.Casimir Guild; supply Roman Catholic reading materials and other aid through the Knights of Lithuania Foundation; and promote greater devotion to Our Lady of Siluva throughout the United States.
We promote our Lithuanian heritage through cultural presentations, lectures, trips, and choral/dance groups. Keeping busy is always healthy for an organization. The Knights of Lithuania not only believes this, but practices it every day.
As patriotic Americans, we have deep love for this country, which has given us this opportunity to practice our religion and promote our heritage. If you are Catholic and have Lithuanian in your background, please join us.
